How will we live, eat, and work in 2040? And how can kitchen hacking make us view traditional forms of cuisine from new perspectives? Bachelor degree students from two years of the course work on ideas and products relating to the culture of cooking and eating, the kitchen space, and cooking utensils, tableware and tools – visionary, speculative, and critical projects that approach the theme from the standpoints of ritual and culture. The exhibition shows a selection of works from the second semester (in cooperation with the plastics processing firm of Miraplast) and from the fourth semester (free choice of material). On show are prototypes, design studies, and concepts, as well as processes yielding discoveries and inventions. The project is accompanied on 30.9. by a series of lectures and discussion with the public.
