Oscar grew up in Bristol with a workshop at home, able to spend hours messing about with many types of materials which formed his love of things and how they are made. After Graduating from 3D design BA in Brighton, Oscar set up making furniture and working as a free lance designer in London. Together with Attua Aparicio he formed the design studio Silo. They are focused in the study through experimentation with industrial materials and processes aiming to adapt them to a more craft approach. Silo look at how industry makes things, trying to find a simpler and more expressive way, seeing new potential. Hand made-high tech.
