A Wiener, halal! combines the tradition of the Viennese Würstel with halal preparation and the expertise of Turkish and Austrian butchers – a mixture like Vienna itself! People with refugee experience were integrated into the project right from the start, worked on design and construction of the mobile booth, and take over selling at diverse festivals and events – an opportunity for them to earn a bit extra. The project A Wiener, halal! is a cooperative venture of the Brunnenpassage and the design collective Františeks Praktikanten.
