DESIGN EVERYDAY – DESIGN FÜR DEN GEBRAUCH

Twenty-eight contemporary products created by a veritable who’s who of Austrian designers. Bordered by matte-black corrugated sheets and highlighted by means of bright-red displays, the objects at Georg Schnitzer and Peter Umgeher’s show, conceived and curated at the invitation of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, could be seen primarily as a stocktaking in times of increasing amalgamation of virtual and real worlds. How do designers react to recent changes? And how are innovations reflected in the design of articles we use every day?
