A punk attitude meets a glass-art aesthetic meets a hipster neighborhood: Robert Comploj is a master of glass art, and his bold and innovative work methods are well known outside Austria. After learning his craft in Murano, Comploj spent several years as an apprentice in North America and Denmark. After returning to Austria, he revolutionized the scene and at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2017 presented in his recently opened combination showroom and workshop on Westbahnstraße a new form of vase that unites functionality and objectness.
