Art meets technology: a dialogue in the virtual world. The Polish studio 11th Dimension’s installation is like an immersive journey through the biography of the painter Zdzislaw Beksinski, who passed away in 2005. Accompanied by atmospheric music and ambient noises, users roam the spectacular and realistic spheres and are immersed in four surreal worlds modeled on the artist’s iconic works. The experience debuted in March 2015 and was one of the world's first virtual reality applications that fused classic art and virtual reality. Foregrounded is the idea of conveying knowledge and the experience of art. More information can be found at www.de-profundis.pl.
