Patrick Rampelotto

Patrick Rampelotto, born in Sterzing, Italy, started studying law at the Leopold-Franzens-Universität in Innsbruck before changing to the University of Applied Arts Vienna in order to study industrial design with the professors Borek Sipek and Ross Lovegrove. Already while studying he developed the casket „Plic“ in collaboration with the glass manufacturer J. & L. Lobmeyr, which has been taken up in the study collection of the university. After receiving his diploma, Rampelotto worked at the EOOS design studio and since 2009 as an independent designer in the areas of shop and furniture design as well as fashion accessories. Objects of the artist have found their way into the collections of the Hofmobiliendepot ∙ Imperial Furniture Collection, the Wien Museum as well as the Křehký Gallery.
