studio högl borowski was founded in 2015 by Stefanie Högl and Matthias Borowski. The Vienna-based designers create furniture and conceptual objects that increasingly demand to be sensually experienced and accessed. In its delightful interpretations of confectionaries, the duo questions the key role of sensory parameters in design and investigates the diversity of material scenarios. The works of studio högl borowski have already been widely exhibited, in locations including the Design Biennale Saint-Etienne in France, the Museum for Moderne Kunst og Design in Trapholt in Denmark, and Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City.
