Constantin Demner founded his studioelastik in 2001 in Vienna. After a master’s program in typo/graphic studies at the London College of Printing, Demner established his studio in the UK. His sabbatical with a period in Africa radically changed studioelastik’ sorientation and work attitude: Demner is outstanding for good intention and intuition, mobility and flexibility, and eye-level communication. Since 2009, he has been working in Vienna again – supplying illustrations, typographies, screen prints, and risographies to the international music, art, and culture scene. In line with his studio’s name, Constantin Demner loves working in cafés, at the back of his 1983 VW Passat, and semi-parasitically in befriended studios.
