Design expert, curator and author, director of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK

Since 2014 Tulga Beyerle is director of the Kunsgewerbemuseum Dresden.
As such, she is on the one hand responsible for repositioning the museum and for a contemporary exhibition programme, which covers inter alia „Rochaden, Designer treffen auf die Sammlung“ [„Designers meet the collection“], 2014; „Die Teile des Ganzen, Geschichten aus Sammlung des Kunstgewerbemuseums“ [„Stories from the collection of the Kunstgewerbemuseum“], „Die falsche Blume, ein Designmärchen von Hermann August Weizenegger“ [„The False Flower, a Design Fairy Tale by Hermann August Weizenegger“], 2015; „Der eigene Antrieb, oder wie uns das Rad bewegt“ [„Self-Propelled or how the Bicycle moves us“], curator Petra Schmidt, „Friends + Design“ together with Maria Cristina Didero, 2016. Excibitions from year 2014, for example „2000 bis 2010. Design in Wien“[„from 2000 until 2010. Design in Vienna“] (together with Peter Stuiber), Museum in Vienna, 2010; „Elke Krystufek, Liquid Logic“, MAK, Vienna 2006; „Peter Eisenman, Barfuß auf weißglühenden Mauern“[„Peter Eisenman. Barefoot on White-Hot Walls“], MAK, Vienna 2004.
Between 2006 and 2013, together with Thomas Geisler (until 2010) and Lilli Hollein, Tulga Beyerle was one of the directors of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.
