The works of Klemens Schillinger stand for a product culture of frugality. His plain and simple handling of constructive and aesthetic components produces objects that are well-nigh self-evident in their austere charm, minimal material usage and poetic emphasis. Klemens Schillinger studied at the FH Joanneum in Graz and the Royal College of Art in London. Afterwards he worked in London as a designer for the British designer Faye Toogoo. Schillinger has lived in his hometown of Vienna since 2014, where he works in product, furniture and interior design.
