Jessica Hansson (*1974) graduated from the Department of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. She now works from her own design studio realizing projects mainly in the fields of furniture design that often follow an experimental or conceptual approach using simple materials and forms. For her works she has recently received the 1st prize of the D3 Contest – young designers’ competition as well as the Interior Innovation Award at imm Cologne 2010 for her ‘cabinet filled with shadows’.
