The Czech designer Maxim Velčovský shut himself in the cellar of the glassmaker J. & L. Lobmeyr for some time and experimented there with the extraordinary archive of chandelier glass parts from all epochs. His contribution is a personal interpretation of the laterna magica and concentrates on the incomparable property of glass of playing with light and shadow.
