Wiesner-Hager Design Competition 2008: Settee – spatial zone for the meantime

In October 2007 Wiesner-Hager announced a settee design competition. The office furniture specialist went in search of experimental designs with young designers who instead of the normal waiting situation put communication and an exchange of ideas much more in the foreground. As part of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Wiesner-Hager is presenting the 149 submissions from architects and designers and of course also the three competition winners. At the beginning of the presentation Wolfgang Pauser presents his entertaining cultural analysis of the settee.
