ak7 – Contemporary Design by Contemporary Artists, quartier21/MQ
1.–10.10.2010
The ak7 label is active at the interface between art and design: furniture designed by well-known artists and produced by Tyrolean craft enterprises according to classical craftsmanship techniques is sold in limited editions of seven pieces each. A first collection of furniture for the ak7 label will be finished by October 2010 that will be presented to the public within the framework of a festival and the exhibition The Art of Design. The exhibition, which is a joint effort of quartier21/MQ and the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, will be on view in the freiraum quartier21 INTERNATIONAL until 21 November 2010.
