“Is There Or Isn’t There” is an exhibition of ideas realized by twelve
Bulgarian designers. Most of them live and work in Sofia, while a few have chosen to set up their own studios in different European countries. The exhibition brings together projects that are unique because of their artistry, simplicity, material, style and execution, all united by an aesthetic uncommon in the Bulgarian mass market.

This is not an objective and comprehensive exhibition. It shows no examples of successfully completed projects for industrial production – faucets, yogurt pots or plastic chairs for restaurants. It consists of a subjective selection made on the basis of interesting and remarkable developments. The long-term objective of the exhibition is to grow into a platform that supports, promotes and launches Bulgarian product design at home and abroad.
