Every single element of his ‘Small Worlds’ is in itself useful, decorative, and created with the finest craftsmanship. If one places the components together, a small storybook world appears. The results of classical glass-working techniques like overlay, cutting, and
engraving are not only decorative, but are part of the whole story.

Ever since the revival of its manufactory, the glass producer Theresienthal in the Bavarian Forest has strongly invested in collaborations with international designers. Building on a carefully preserved tradition of craftsmanship reaching back to 1836, a number of new drinking glass series and decorative objects have
been produced in recent years in collaboration with renowned designers.
