Julia Lohmann is a multidisciplinary designer who studies our behaviour as it interacts with nature, society and consumerism at the interface of creativity, science and art. She is a professor at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg and researches in the Department of Design Products at the Royal College of Art and in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. At present she is developing materials and objects made of kelp. Gero Grundmann and Magnus Gburek will also be joining Julia Lohmann to work in the Laboratory.
