Staud’s is a Viennese producer of fine vegetable and fruit preserves. It is proud to work without chemical additives and only with the best raw materials; despite worldwide export, Mr. Staud likes to test his jam himself. Now meeting up with Staud’s is the German product designer Mathias Hahn, who works in London after studying at the Royal College of Art. His objects and furniture seem down-to-earth and robust yet without dispensing with refined details. In an installation he will be approaching the world of Staud’s by poetically addressing colour, material and the meaning of preserving for winter time.
