Since December 2010, Vienna has been enriched by an additional design highlight: after two years’ construction work, the stilwerk Wien design centre was opened in the so called "Jean Nouvel Tower" and today incorporates more than 28 exclusive, owner-run shops. This continues a German success story in Vienna: for over 14 years stilwerk has been a pivotal location in design, exclusive furnishings and lifestyle accessories known to the leading brands across the world. Now, after Hamburg, Berlin and Düsseldorf it has opened its first branch abroad in Vienna. Already an important festival location for stilwerk and the headquarters of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Labor in 2011, the Design Tower will present numerous exhibition and events this year as well!
