URBANAUTS is a hotel for urban adventurers that converts empty business premises into unusual hotel rooms. Theresia Kohlmayr, Jonathan Lutter and Christian Knapp have a passion for unconventional overnight accommodation and arrange the furnishings, all of their own design – but not only here. For the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK they are converting an old classroom into a hotel room. And because design needs life, this arrangement is more than just an exhibit: the guests don’t leave the exhibition after closing time; they stay overnight in the URBANAUTS Pop-up Hotel!
