Potential cultural convergences between Austria and France were investigated in the stimulating show OBJET DÉTOURNÉ, which took place simultaneously in mirrored form in Vienna and Paris. Nine designers entered into an artistic exchange by selecting an everyday object typical of their country. A chance object from the other country was suggested to them with which they could associate their own ideas and elaborate. The exhibition start was marked by a workshop in which the designers produced the associative objects with the help of the public.
