In their special show, the Wittmann furniture workshops and the Kiesler Foundation demonstrated how great awareness can help in a consistent continuation of the history of the Austrian avant-garde. The show included an overview of furniture designs by the émigré (to the USA) architect and designer Friedrich Kiesler, and most particularly a presentation of the Mergentime three-legged chair, acquired in an auction. The original, dated 1935, encountered the first prototype of its re-edition in the Wittmann showroom.
