The 4th thing/niches

The department for three-dimensional design at the Vienna University of Technology presented architectural and artistic product design by the students in the public environment in and around the restaurant Heuer am Karlsplatz. The diverse objects made of UHPC concrete were the result of a cooperation with motivated people in Vienna in the summer semester of 2015, its aim being the revival of the 4th district. Whether seating sculpture or musical instrument, the grey-structured objects illustrated a wide range of potential uses. An effectively staged project of the perennially committed TU Vienna.
