Together with the French product designer Christophe Machet, the Analog Sonntag team explored the 10th district, penetrated deep into this unknown territory, which the population tends to look askance at. The ad hoc design group interviewed people from Favoriten, built a kiosk, and illustrated post-cards as souvenirs. In exchange with the often pleasantly surprised public, they were able to dispel prejudices and integrate ideas. And above all, the open and inspiring form of the Laboratory proved to be an initial spark that triggered a further project: the idea of the Analog Sonntag collective to create a city guide-cum-image campaign for Favoriten.
