After a total of thirty years, architect Adolf Krischanitz is submitting his interiors for the first time to a comprehensive inventory, showing originals, drawing, plans, and photos. His objects – from chair and sofa to table and lamp – are always assigned to a feasible constructional agenda, thus part of a method of spatial organization and management. Over and above this, models for two of his pavilions augment the topic by the concept of urban furniture. The exhibition presents the first catalogue raisonné of Adolf Krischanitz’s entire oeuvre of furniture. Curated by Edelbert Köb.
