THE TOOL & THE OBJECT

Vöslauer

30.9.–9.10.2016

As rucksack, shoulder bag, or with a practical clip? How do you transport a mineral water six-pack home without too much effort? This was the question addressed by young designers in the Vöslauer Design Competition 2016,
managed and advised by the VIENNA DESIGN OFFICE.
The winning project by Florian Puschmann involved a belt and separate band which could carry bottles of every size, also singly. The design was on show besides all other submissions in the Festival Headquarters during the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and could be tried out in situ. With submissions from Alphakanal (Christian Peetz) with Patrycja Domanska (Acknowledgement
prize), also mathak + mahlknecht, and Zitta Schnitt.

Jury: Birgit Aichinger (Head of Marketing and Sales, Vöslauer,), Marco Dessí
(Designer), Michael Hausenblas (Journalist, Der Standard), Ricarda Nieswandt (Blogger, 23QM Stil), Lilli Hollein (VIENNA DESIGN WEEK)
