From supermarket to design super store. In its newly opened Viennese branch, the Swiss bag label QWSTION, as well as selling its regular range, organizes an everchanging platform for young designers. The Viennese design bureau Vandasye showcased itself in the hotspot new building – alongside the two Swiss studios of Schönstaub and Terrazzo Project in a first-time cooperation.
While the one showed off universe vases and high chairs, the other placed
carpets woven of art silk as a special edition under the cubic counters of marbled stone. The carpets shimmered like iridescent opals in nuances of blue and red in the new rooms of the shop: “Questioning the norm, using  straight-forward materials, and integrating functionality in simple shapes.”
