The technical problems of printing were incidental to Miki Martinek’s contribution at most. While the presentation’s context, dr.uckerei Riegelnik in the 8th district, played an important role, the focus of the GIVE LIFE A CHANGE design service was primarily projects that contribute to sustained change for the good of everyone. As part of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, design:mikimartinek issued a call for relevant submissions and then exhibited them in the printing shop’s windows. The aim of Martinek, who plays a regular role in the festival, was to create a portfolio of meaningful projects that produce a positive change and improve life. Still, the printing shop’s owner, Norbert Geiger, and Schreibsalon’s Bettina Reinisch were able to report on typographic errors while having a festive cocktail.
