Happy birthday, TON! For the company’s first birthday, the showroom on Rudolfsplatz invited the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK audience to celebrate along with international designers. Whoever wanted to know what’s behind TON’s products and how they’re produced was also warmly invited to visit the factory in Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Czech Republic, with the birthday bus. This represented a great opportunity to tour the world’s oldest production site for bentwood, where furniture’s still made with traditional technology.
