Smoking to improve your health? It’s possible! Together with Alexander Ehrmann, a sixth-generation pharmacist, pavillon_35 members Günter Seyfried, Kristin Weissenberger, and Moya Hoke served in Saint Charles Alimentary a three-course menu, one intended to bring all the forest’s sensory experiences into the city: In rigid ceremonial succession, liqueur, cookies and smoke (all in various forest flavors) were consumed, inhaled and enjoyed, recreating an expedition deep into the imagined forest. A perfect scenario, completed by the special haptic quality of the wooden evaporator and the immersive audiovisual installation in the salon’s back room. “The project’s objective is to create awareness that something new can be born of science in association with art and design,” as it was described in the announcement. Mission accomplished!
