Vienna’s Stadthalle is equipped to host a rich program of events, as everyone knows. The fact that exciting experiences are possible thanks to its architecture alone is possibly not as familiar. Star architect Roland Rainer created Halle D, one of most important structures in Austrian architecture, which opened in 1958. He also designed much of its furnishings – for example, the stackable chairs and the Rainer cloakroom. An absorbing tour that includes the stage floor, the backstage area and fine art.
