Swarovski Designer Talk

To celebrate the unveiling of the second Atelier Swarovski Home collection during VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, Swarovski has invited two of its designers, Aldo Bakker and Kim Thomé to talk about their inspirations, designs and creative process. Aldo Bakker, a trained silversmith and a jewelry and product designer from the Netherlands, has won several awards for collections of glass and porcelain tableware and teaches at the Design Academy at Eindhoven. Kim Thomé, Norwegian born designer, graduated from the Royal College of Art and runs his studio from east London. His work always finds a balance between installation and object, and mixes graphic elements and optical play.
