Make things happen! With a combined showroom and maker space conceived for this purpose, Happylab showed at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK’s Festival Headquarters for ten days a selection of designed objects that were manufactured digitally and invited visitors to take matters in their own hands. Happylab is Austria’s first fab lab (fabrication laboratory): the open workshop that’s employed around the world to enable quick realization of ideas with digital production machines. Laser cutters, 3-D printers, and Co. are made available to creatives for simple manufacture of prototypes and short runs. Happypeople in the Happylab make for a Happyfestival!
