FOUR6 – TEXTILE INTERACTIVE OBJECTS

Selina Reiterer, Oliver Maklott

28.9.–7.10.2018

The haptic and contemplative experience FOUR6 by textile designer Selina Reiterer and media artist Oliver Maklott could be described as petting and purring therapy in the Kenyon-Pavillon. The series of interactive objects with textile surfaces questions not only conventional methods of operating systems in the age of smartphones and co. As things to be touched and felt, they also serve as an interface to tactile experience and the virtual world: Stroking, swiping, and touching could produce and modulate a number of different sounds. Welcome tactile therapy in the primarily visual Kenyon-Pavillon.
