Creating aids for reaching up was the intention of a student project initiated by the label amm – architektInnen machen möbel of the TU Graz’s Institute of Architecture. Needless to say: The prototypes, all of which took an architectural approach, were also intended to advance the careers of those students who developed furniture models in the Institute of Spatial Design’s woodworking shop under experienced supervision. And the fact that innovation and being down to earth aren’t contradictory was illustrated by both the furniture and the accustomed family atmosphere at the JOHAN Natur Design Wohnen’s shop.
