The Vorarlberg manufactory presents these qualities year after year at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. In 2018, it was attracted by the opportunity to watch someone make tiles. At the 2nd district’s Schiffamt, illustrators, architects, street artists, and concept artists left their traces on raku tiles made in the mobile oven in the building’s courtyard, then displayed and offered them for sale. This represented an absolutely satisfying sequel to the popular ornament laboratory in 2016 and the fashion smithy in 2017, and was also a highlight of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.
