We’re not alone as often when we’re together, as they say. But what does that mean these days? How one can spend time with others in spite of spatial distance is illustrated by the project SEPARATE TOGETHERNESS. Set up as a kind of private room in the Festival Headquarters in the former Sophienspital, the interactive experience created moments of a tête-à-tête in a coffeehouse atmosphere via webcam and screen. An installative mixture of digital and analogue components of life fusing virtual and real worlds that both brought two participants closer together.
