Fashion in the era of digital production: What role will be played by open-­access databases of patterns and local production in fab labs for the fashion industry? As part of this hands­on experience, interested visitors are invited to discuss trends of the future in the field of fashion designs and explore digital fabri­cation with three tools. In this way, custom clothes are assembled on two different days with a laser cutter, modular patterns from the interna­tional database theSHIRT are used for on-­site production, and open­ source data is transformed into 2­-D and 3­-D patterns.
