During renovation work on an 18th century building in Vienna’s Berggasse, a walled-up staircase leading to a basement far under Alsergrund was found. In an impressive vaulted room measuring over 400 square meters, Vienna’s new cult bar – krypt.bar – was founded. In addition to the exceptional architectural design of Büro KLK, a changing selection of design and artworks, some new, can be found in the extensive bar and lounge areas.
