In one way or another, culinary experiences are constantly connected with design. Ideally, both are local, sustainable, sensory, and ritual. The group exhibition DESIGN DINING unites design-oriented and culinary ways of thinking and presents Slovenian designers, who have designed new pieces of tableware for a multi-course dinner in cooperation with the head chef of the renowned TaBar restaurant in Ljubljana. The designs can be tested at the table and admired in the Festival Headquarters.
DESIGN DINING is organized by the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) and the Centre for Creativity (CzK) within the framework of the Distributed Design Market Platform and supported by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union.
