Meeting place: festival bar. The VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is marking its 15th birthday by fulfilling a long-held wish and creating the FESTIVAL BAR AT BURSCHIK – a place where visitors can exchange ideas, party, and chill every evening in the very best company.

Burschik, Austria’s oldest vermouth cellar, is very close to Vienna’s Westbahnhof Station. Ever since 1891, excellent wines and selected herbs have been combined here to create the finest vermouth. The in-house Wermuteria – designed by the studio Lucy.D – is the official bar of this year’s VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and, hence, a meeting place for all festival visitors. Thirsty guests will be greeted by refreshing spritzers and cocktails created by the team from LIQUID MARKET, while MR Currywurst will provide the perfect accompaniment. So, there is a festival bar after all!
