Fungi are neither animals nor plants. They are something else, something willful, branching out in the darkness below the ground, undergoing continuous transformation – FUNGI AT T/ABOR. Fungi live in symbioses. They play a major role in the natural cycle, ensure the replacement of nutrients and messenger material, catalyze and cause decay and rebirth. Metamorphosis, the leitmotif of transformation and recycling, also shapes the culture of T/abor as a space for art and transdisciplinary cooperation.
