An idea becomes reality: Every product passes through this process. And it generally brings a number of compromises, as a result of which the final outcome is often little more than a vague shadow of the original idea. The fact that not all concept cars are subject to this rule is demonstrated by the Swedish electric car brand Polestar. With its “Precept”, the company is successfully walking the tightrope between vision and reality: Rather than merely being the logical evolution of a consistent design language, the model uses sustainable materials to open up new horizons that stretch far beyond the automobile industry.
