The Design Intelligence Award (DIA) was established in 2015 by the China Academy of Art and is the first international academic prize for industrial design. The award honors the ingenuity and imagination of innovators and entrepreneurs and pays equal attention to human-centered perspectives and the interaction between people and machines. The exhibition in the designforum Wien is the first in Europe to present both the Austrian winners of the award and outstanding international work by prize-winning designers.
