How can we find a place for emotions in the public realm? The Leopoldstadt-based artist Anna Riess invites festival visitors to decorate the district with location-specific interventions in ceramic form. There are two parts to the paid workshop: On 23.9., participants translate their feelings and observations into fragile clay objects under the guidance of Anna Riess. And these will be dried, fired, and glazed during a second session on 30.9. On 7.10., following the glaze firing, the objects can then be collected and individually placed in their previously determined location. The action is aimed at inquisitive interventionists, who want to find a form – and then a public platform – for their feelings.
