The installation HOCHSCHAUBAHN by the New Design University (NDU) sets everything that has shaped the 2nd district over centuries in motion: the personalities and original characters, the Prater landscape, the alleys and buildings as well as the horrors of the past. Under the direction of Harald Trapp, students of the master program Interior Design and Visual Communication translate excerpts from the culture and history of the 2nd district into mobile dioramas. They work out a colorful ride spontaneously on the basis of whatever they find on the spot, enabling guests to get up close and personal with Leopoldstadt.
