Fragility meets durability: The young Vienna collaborative design studio SPHAER focuses on interdisciplinary cooperation. To mark the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, the founder and product designer Leni Piëch is presenting the first lamp collections “Calliope” and “Pythia,” which were developed together with Bade Erol. These combine aesthetics with the desire to envelop spaces and bodies with warmth and wellbeing. The six handmade pendant lights “Hecate,” “Aglaea,” “Ourania,” “Bia,” “Theia,” and “Eirene” are principally made from glass and ceramic and shed a completely new light on their underlying poetic narratives.
