The exhibition by the Polish Husarska Design Studio focuses on the potential of hemp fiber as an environmentally-friendly alternative to conventional materials: RE-HEMPTATION illustrates technologies and products that enable us to use the one-year-old plant in such industrial sectors as food and furniture production and as a construction material. The overriding objective of the exhibition is to improve the image of hemp as a means of encouraging the research and development of composite materials in the spirit of ecological sustainability.
Designers and manufacturers of the exhibited products talk about opportunities and challenges in working with the promising material hemp. Accompanying dishes from the plant-based meat alternative Hempeat will be served.
