Biofabrique Vienna: Wiener Farben Tour

As part of the Urban Food & Design format, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2025 will present the new Biofabrique Vienna focus on Viennese Colors. A guided tour through the showcase offers insights into how natural dyes can be extracted from seemingly discarded food waste and neophytes, and transformed into a local color palette.
The first colors and pigments developed within a research network of designers, universities, and industry partners using regional resources will be on display, introducing visitors to the themes of natural dyes and bioregional design.
The tour lasts about one hour and will be held in German or English, depending on demand.
